In this video I’m showing how I made a jig to mill out arched pieces of Douglas fir to build out the interior side to accommodate thicker walls being installed into this house. I placed the plywood for the bottom of my shaper table jig behind the arch of the jamb and scribed the shape to the plywood. I think went to the bandsaw and cut that piece out and sanded it smooth since whatever that edge is will copy to my finished piece as that bearing follows along.
